1 – Warranties

All Products sold by central-parts.fr are covered by the usual warranties provided by law, and, where applicable, by a manufacturer’s warranty, the extent and duration of which differ according to the Products and brands, and which will be mentioned in the summary sheet for the Product in question.

  • Adaptable parts: 3-month warranty
  • Used parts: 3-month warranty
  • Standard exchange parts: 6-month warranty
  • OEM part, no returns or exchanges if you give the reference. If you have not given the reference number, then the guarantee is for 30 days.

In the case of glass, the customer must imperatively check the condition of the product on receipt and indicate a reservation if the product is damaged (please note! it is imperative to write down the visual problem). Example: “The top left window is broken”. Writing “Reserve” is not sufficient to claim a refund. If possible, take photos of the damage.

In order to benefit from the Product warranties, it is essential to keep the purchase invoice for the Product.

By way of example and not exhaustively, the usual warranties provided by law do not cover :

– abnormal or improper use of the Products,

– defects and their consequences arising from use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was intended,

– defects and their consequences due to any external cause.

Please note that the legal warranty does not apply, or applies only in part, to the repair of damage resulting from an external cause (e.g. accident, shock, lightning strike, current fluctuation, etc.), or from a fault on the part of the customer resulting, for example, from use or installation which does not comply with the equipment manufacturer’s specifications, or from use which is detrimental to the good preservation of the part.

In all cases, central-parts.fr cannot be held responsible if the manufacturer refuses to apply its warranty for the above-mentioned reasons.

2 – Return formalities

1. Product return procedure

Whether in application of the right of withdrawal referred to in Article VIII and/or guarantees. Central Parts informs its Customers that compliance with the following formalities is a prerequisite for the return of Products:

  1. Make your request on our website via your account in the “my returns” section. Or by telephone with an employee. Once your request has been accepted by our service, you must return your products to us within 30 days at the latest.
  2. Carefully repack the Product(s) to be returned in their ORIGINAL PACKAGING in perfect condition.
  3. Insert a copy of the return form, received in the return confirmation e-mail, in your parcel.
  4. Write the following address on the package: Cental Parts. 115 rue des cassines, 45560 St Denis en Val, France
  5. Please keep the return shipment number.

No request or return after thirty (30) days will be accepted by our services.

Only products returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition for resale will be taken back. Any product that has been damaged, marked, soiled, has assembly marks or whose original packaging has been damaged will not be taken back, exchanged or reimbursed.

Items returned in cardboard packaging (filters, starters, lights, etc.) must be placed in another cardboard box. Do not use the item’s box as a shipping carton. Otherwise, the return will be refused, as the item cannot be resold in this condition.

2. Return shipping costs

All costs are at the customer’s expense (return costs, re-shipment costs, parcel refusal, parcel not collected, transaction management costs, etc.).

3. Receipt of return

After receipt of the product(s) and acceptance of the return by the After-Sales Service, Central-parts.fr offers, depending on the availability of its Products and the Customer’s wishes :
– or the reshipment of a new identical Product
– or a refund of the product (excluding return postage)

After this period of thirty (30) days, no returns will be accepted.

Reimbursement will be made by bank transfer (please send us a bank details form) or by crediting the Customer’s credit card according to the initial method of payment used, at the latest within thirty (30) days following receipt by Central-parts.fr of the product and within fifteen (15) days following the date on which the Customer exercised his/her right of withdrawal, subject to prior receipt by Central-parts.fr of the product concerned.

4. Extended return period by Central-parts.fr

Central-parts.fr offers its customers the possibility of returning items ordered and still new, for a period of thirty (30) calendar days, under the conditions described below. This period runs from the date of delivery of the order. After this period, no returns or exchanges will be accepted. No refunds will be made.
